Verify that:

  • MySQL is available for your account or you have it installed locally
    • You need at least one database to run BrewBlogger
  • PHP is installed on the server or you have it installed locally
    • Most free web hosts (e.g., Angelfire, etc,) DO NOT have these items available for no-cost customers, although AwardSpace does provide free hosting with PHP/MySQL
  • If you do choose to run BrewBlogger locally, it is recommended that you download and install XAMPP
    • Installation help for XAMPP is not supported by BrewBlogger's creators
